![]() ![]() HomeOut Over Catering was started in 2006 by Shelley Kift on her family farm 'out over' Exmoor at Blackmoor Gate. Using home-bred Duroc-cross pork and beef from neighbouring local farms, Out Over supplies local farmers' markets with cooked savoury and sweet products and catering trailers to events in North Devon and Somerset. We also offer catering for outside events ranging from sit-down wedding breakfasts to party finger food. All elements of the business are based around local produce.
Finally and most importantly, we are farmers! Our Duroc cross pigs are born, reared and fattened on the farm. Our pigs only leave the farm for slaughter at Combe Martin Meats, then return to the farm as a carcass. Every sausage is made by hand by us on the farm. We also use our pork to make sausage meat, which we use in a lot of our products for the farmers' markets. The beef we use is either our own or from neighbouring farms where we buy the 'whole bullock' for our exclusive use. We also breed Exmoor Hill Sheep on the farm and the lamb is used in our recipes. We pride ourselves that all of our ingredients are sourced as locally as we can, with the least possible stress on the animals. We aim to provide a 'from farm to fork' service for all your catering requirements.
